A Day To Relax - Poem by Michael P. McParland
I dream of a day where nothing important
or pressing would be happening no one
bothering us as we spent the day relaxing and resting.
We both so badly need a day with no stress
spent together smiling in each others arms.
No movies, no T.V, no phone,
no other people interupting and bothering.
Just talking and music,
enjoying each other, our love, and our company.
a day to relax with each other just
sitting back on the couch,
snuggling in bed as we enjoy each other in
the stress free quiet resting,
reconnecting in full with our bond
nothing interfereing to test it at all.
A day to relax laying back cuddling your head on my chest,
listening to each other breathing, resting,
on our beautiful day to relax.
A look at our future in its pure excellent beauty,
I dream and need just as you a day to relax,
holding each other in pure loving rest.
