A Destined Encounter Poem by Hebert Logerie

A Destined Encounter

If it's meant for you and me
To be together in harmony
This event will take place
Whether we like it or not
I have no intention of becoming a nut
A bimbo chasing you around the lot
For another time, I'm saving my face.

If we were destined to be together
No one could stop us from seeing each other
Today was meant to be nice and sunny
No one could make the weather stormy or rainy
Only Mother Nature with God's permission can do that
Whatever meant to happen will uneventfully
Take a seat, so let the hungry cat eat the rat.

If we are meant to leave peacefully together
No obstacles can prevent us of being a nice couple
Darling, dreams do come true, but we must gather
As much information as possible. We must be subtle
Very precise and focused on the goals we want to garner
No need to speculate, if we are meant to become one
No one can stop us from reaching our ultimate heaven.
