A Discord Of Yellow Poem by Richard George

A Discord Of Yellow

Rating: 3.5

October sun on honey-coloured stone.
Shocked, a blonde fresher
leans over a gargoyle
with milk, and a cheese sandwich.
Heart of gold.

All he can see is the dark between her breasts.

He baptises her with acid
he swigs from his own cistern,
dissolving an angel
