A door opens
The world is
Suddenly bigger
Things yet to exist
Start to begin
Expect a name
Grope around
Though naught is new
All is done before
It’s through
Yet one must go
Relearn
ii
Character grows
Like robust tree
Training works
In tender age
To help the old
They cut the twigs
One may learn
From others’ faults
But from one’s own
It hastens growth
From one’s own eyes
One sees the truth
iii
The tide rises
Then it falls
The sand regains
Its silkiness
After each wave
Whip lashed its fore
With other souls
One co-exist
With other beings
To connect and
Complement each
One’s bequest
Thus a Harmony ensues
Thus an Evolution shows
Then groping hands
Now hoisting statues
