A Dream Poem by William Kofoed

A Dream

The world I see
I do not like
There is much
I would change
Filled with hope
I close my eyes
And I wish that
It will be
Filled with love
For all mankind
And become
Quite color blind
Men and women
Both can dream
The same dream
For both of them
Peace and plenty
For everyone
Is this too much
To great a dream
I open my eyes
With hope to see
A dream that
We could see
