at christmas time
a card given
unto them
at store
there to spend
slipped unseen
into the snow
and under foot
lost
that pushed
to the side
buried there
months pass
till in spring
found again
by another
a gift
or is it
they see
in minds eye
a child's lost
a child they
can never find
but can try
return the

maybe
just maybe
they can
find the child
