Surrounded by toys
A puppy, a doll
Life's little joys
Too big for them all.
Today is the day
I got what I wanted
I finally got my way
With toys that I flaunted.
The sadness was gone
But I know I was bought
I was just a pawn
In an elaborate plot.
He used me for his gain
Without thinking of the cost
How much it's caused me pain
Or how much I have lost.
