A Dream Within A Dream Poem by Undine Roxie

A Dream Within A Dream

As you just look around
You see that all are gone.
As you step-up
You see that there's no moon,
No stars, no sun,
No one brings you happines
People are just made of stone
And so are you.
But you wake-up
And see it was a dream,
You look around - nobody.
You feel the ground so cold,
This silence makes a shiver in your body
You feel so old,
You feel the pain no more,
You look around - dead bodies,
But you just let them lying there
They're your friends
That were so faithful in their days.
But you don't cry
Because they all betraied your soul.
You're asking why haven't you died,
And you don't know.
Just stay there look at them,
So cold, so distant as alive.
Wake-up again and you should realize
A dream within a dream it was,
But this time you wake-up and it's all real.
