A Fallen Angel - Poem by LYNN HURST

One night for no reason to me,
An Angel fell.

Alone in the dark she wondered,
Not knowing which way to go.

She came upon a wishing well,
Which she held onto,
Trying to be strong.

Angels flew around her,
Trying to show her the way.
But the fallen angel said,
At this wishing well, I shall stay.

The wishing well stood up and said,
Whatever road you decide to take,
I’ll always be here for you,
Whenever you awake.

We all wish you well.
