A Father's Protection Poem by Pierre Rausch

A Father's Protection

Rating: 5.0

I cleaned the cupboard
Had been always like this
How to articulate this
Take matters in our own hands
Which were still in operation
Something in common
What you would never do
But there‘s nothing else
Out of the spotlight
Took him at his word
Whatever charge is pending
Of the imploding structure
We really can do something
On your second night back
Until it pulled to a stop
Quickly locating the port
Be careful and romantic
