A Felicitous Trek Poem by Maymay Marie

The luxury of artistic creation was given,
The pursuit of happiness, the anthem of love beads,
Inextricably adorn in a whirlwind of redo,
Love was the epitome of vines to crawl in the heart.

Streets flooded with the merriment of old and new,
Hands were chained with a herald of tidings,
Another cup of the promise was a key to behold,
A new journey was a need to drive home the message.

The sunshine greeted the vast ocean,
The rain applauded the prosperity coming,
The birds were singing the dreams to trek,
A felicitous one, as promised in the Holy Book.

Veins of walks quest for the reign to uphold,
Sometimes it was forgotten, sometimes it was a deed,
Eagles shouted the cry to end the blues,
Gripping the felicitous trek to experience nigh.

The promise was written to all,
To behold the Heaven-sent Word,
Brought the blessing of anew aglow,
A felicitous trek was a Grace to be taken.
