A Gem I Found Poem by Maymay Marie

A Gem I Found

Rating: 5.0

As I walked through the summit
I noticed along the corridor the new wit
Of a breeze light in a distance that hopped
In the entire ground palace, it smiled not in wrapped.

Then, I slowly saw how it turned
It stood tall like an ambassador that ruled
A repute that was quite a citadel
Spoke of perpetual aid and anvil.

The surrounding background clapped and smiled
For it brought a splendid filed
To the homestead and heart
Drew a remarkable art.

Then, it stayed, came and went
From the core to the branch it was sent
Its worth marked a legacy
That perfection an aim from history.

Time passed and actions were planned and done
I kept my journey in walk and in run
Its light was a guide in each point and talked about crown
It aided the entire area including clan.

Then, one day change came
Its light reached another frame
Its memory here- in sweet, in laugh and in ink
One cannot forsake but give way to always think.
