A Flavor To The New Year Poem by J Sheba Anandhi

A Flavor To The New Year

The New Year has begun
It is time to hope for more fun,
Keeping the past apart
It is difficult to move fast,
Instead of lingering
Holding on to memories
And hopefully proceeding
Would be better to build new theories;
Life makes us taste a number of flavors,
At times you don't get to choose your savors,
Sweet or salt, bitter or sour,
Go with it, as it doesn't last for more than an hour,
In life, taste is an experience,
Sweetness lasts for some time,
Bitterness lasts for lifetime,
Saltiness and sourness usually take a little time,
Savor is the flavor that makes all the difference,
Spray up a little spice to feel the difference
For the aroma can trigger the remembrance.
