A Flying Side Poem by Alexander Julian

A Flying Side

A bee flew from the Corolla into some car wash
off its drive when drivers ate spaghetti in one
car dealership, tasting the neon spray across
from an octopus statue as rolling brushes threatened
his wings at a window shopping area for caramel apple
pops. Suddenly, disco music was playing while
cartoon studios promoted alien movies on a TV monitor
just as meant for rich entertainment as for information
on tubular vacuums, so Mr. Honey ran to chase
the avian bumble until they both crashed into
a snow-cone stand and an Asian lady got criticized
by two retailers for voting at the jerky store.
