A Fog Is Now My Motherland Poem by Anju Knight

A Fog Is Now My Motherland

Rating: 5.0

A fog is now my motherland
grasping furiously, her beauty evades the touch of my fingers.
Fruits of her labor is a history so bold; her story forever retold
This people so much as the dust, beat by the sun
skin so ruff in the ground they work nuff
Their is only brotherly love, see the heart is not that ruff.
What a sight to see my brothers locked by this fighting disease
Loyalty to love is no more,
Silvery droplets of water norish us in lust
Strength in hate; we feed our kids this tool everyday
Our kids so far from a beauty that calms the beast
rip, rant and tear but only in fear
Fearing the heart's end is near,
nourishment of the ground's work is not near
Brotherly love oh pure white air!
So fear is the only thing that cares.

I feel as though fear is only fear until you decide to face it

I liked this poem as it reflects concern, fear and also the fact that you like the place you belong to. The way you have described things in your poem is as right as it is just the exact expression.
