A Fool's Pain Poem by S Langley

A Fool's Pain

Rating: 5.0

I welcomed you in,
turned inside out and over easy
Let you have your way, even when I knew it was wrong.
I let myself go in order to please thee.

Now I pay as you've gone away,
and left me feeling uneasy.
Searching for you, and you're not there.
And my heart screams OH, HOW YOU DECEIVED ME!
