Yeah, Look At Me Now Poem by S Langley

Yeah, Look At Me Now

Rating: 5.0

I got to bed orange every night
Just fresh and in a good space.
I wake up early to the morning light
Shades of yellow all over the place.
By noon the purple sets in.
That is when I am feeling very royal.
Wearing my crown, yeah sportin' it proud.
Look at me now, yeah look at me now.

I see that green girl over there checkin' me out
Full of envy, what's that all about?
Go on with all of that petty mess
I'm out here living and doing my best.
I am like a lukewarm breeze, not hot but not cold
Look at me now, yeah look at me now.

Now sometimes I pick up some other hue
Like when I am sad, I'm all shades of blue.
Feeling a low, instead of an high
But I can't let it stay and ride.
Why? Because I'm way too fly.
Look at me now, yeah look at me now.
