A Forest Battle H Poem by Don Dickenson

A Forest Battle H

Agatha Todd, had a very small dog.
whose tail never ceased to wag.
One day in a wood, it met a big hog,
for a moment its tail seemed to sag.
But, quick as a flash, it jumped on a log,
like a soldier waving a flag.
This worried the hog, now in a fog,
who galloped off quick as a stag.
Though the dog wasn’t big,
it still frightened the pig,
for the log had made it look tall.
Its bark was so loud, and its scent was so strong.
the boar didn’t know it was small.
So it lifted its snout without whimper, or shout,
running fast to its undergrowth lair,
Hiding and resting ‘till darkness should fall,
and ‘twas safe in the cool evening air.

I like the poem, but you have a misprint in the title. It should be FOREST instead of FOOREST.
