A Friend For Life - Poem by Lucy Vernezze

A friend for life
A friend forever
When there's no one left to dance

A friend for life
Two friends together
When no one else would take the chance

When there's no one left awake
You stay awake to talk

When there's no one left to care
You are my shoulder

When there's no one left to share
You share my thoughts

From you i cannot stand to be apart
My friend forever.
My heart.
