A Friend In Need
"A friend in need, is a friend indeed",
They rightly say,
So do I believe,
Ever ready I am to help my pal.
Proteus has betrayed his companion Valentine,
In "Two Gentlemen of Verona",
I have never done so,
Nor will I ever do in my life!
Since I know what friendship really stands for,
I know that deceit breeds nothing but destruction!
