A Frightening Night Poem by Tony Adah

A Frightening Night

Rating: 4.0

The door creaked on its rusty hinges
Flipped open and what I saw
A frightening effigy of my mother long gone
And alone in a lonely night
I embraced my only companion
A straw pillow
And what did they say?
A ghost!
All this I knew
A dream!

Short, sharp, crispy, scary and revealing! Like it like that! ! !
