A Gift Poem by Rose Falcone

A Gift

Forever and a day
Is the time I want with you
Too short this earthly stay
The sun never too hot
When the winter is away
Your love’s so thick
It envelopes all I see
A harbor from life’s storm
Your strong arms protect me
So safe and oh so warm
I have neither want nor need
Your touch has me transform
Melted into softness and bliss
God has given me a gift
The gift of eternal happiness
