She who weeps
At the shallow grave of a loved one
Must walk the path of grief alone
Away from prying eyes
Where her memories shall surface
And dance tauntingly in her mind
As the tears begin to well,
The shadows fall upon her face
For she has just realized
All that she has lost
Her love faded into darkness
Whisked away with no warning
Although she grieves now
In time her heart will heal
The memories still vivid
Her spirit still alive
She soldiers on strong
But she never forgets
