A Handful Of Foodgrains, I Am Hungry, I Am Hungry Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

A Handful Of Foodgrains, I Am Hungry, I Am Hungry

O sky,
O earth,
O heaven,
I am hungry,
I am hungry,
give me,
Give me food,
Food, food,
A handful of,
A handful of food,
O I am hungry,
Hungry,
Give me,
Give me food,
Food!

The small-small
Plum bushes
Giving me,
Giving me plums
Sour-sweet wild plums,
The mango trees mangoes,
The guava trees
Wild guavas
And the stream
Fresh water, clean water
And I,
I feeling content,
Content with,
Blessing,
Blessing the Providence,
A hungry man,
A hungry man
Given under the situation
Turned reverse,
Fate behaving otherwise!
