A Harder Life Poem by Victor Osorio

A Harder Life

Rating: 4.3

Times are getting crazy
I want to go home
I'm not ready for this
I need her love
to remind me
that I was once loved
I need another day
to figure out
what I'm going to do
in life
Everything is changing
I'm not a kid anymore
My mom is getting older
I have to take care of her
High school is a long time ago
A college education didn't really occur
I fall back on this talent
So I could write to you
So I could pay the bills
I'm not the only one struggling
I'm not the only one with poetic skills.
