A Hidden Work Of Art - Poem by Madeline Fazio

Your face is like a work of art
Something new with every part
Your beauty is like a hidden flower
Blooming in the sunrise, using all it's power
Thousands of feelings in shades of color
are hidden in your eyes
Uncovering a lifetime of pain and fears
As dark as a moonless night sky
A mountain of mystery leads me down a trail of tears
Tears that youv'e hidden for so many years
Finally bringing me to the place
The place of silent words you now must face
Whatever may come your way, you must always remember
Your glorious work of art, will forever be in my heart
