A High School Night Poem by Vincent Cao Tran

A High School Night

What a high school night, in a Mustang shine,
Coming back from football gleamy lights

Homecoming date dresses glitter, suits so neat,
High school dreams, oh so sweet

Pine breezing with windows down,
American Pop music blaring to fame renown

Red, white, and blue gently wave,
Oh on my American road, memories we save

Puppy love in the air,
Oh so free, beyond compare
High school romance, under the moon
Gone quickly, but coming back very soon

Mustang hums, sweet, soft sound
Teenage dreams, forever fond

High school dreams, a memory made,
In sweet misty light, that will never fade
