A Hope Nighing_Night Poem by Rowland Howells Ibifiri Orumbie

A Hope Nighing_Night

Rating: 5.0

I sit back taking in the night
Basking in it's grasp
Eyes closed to moonlight
Savouring the dark

Trying to face my fears
Without seeing them
Starting a long face off
Without an actual end.

The night hurts my eyes
It's way darker inside
Deep in my inner sanctum
Where the bitter truth lies.

I hear distant drums telegraphs
My thoughts dances along
Everything's gonna be alright
I hear the message in the song
