A House Crumbling To Fall Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

A House Crumbling To Fall

How did I,
Did I get a house,
A house built
And how did it,
Did it destroy it,
How did it
With the labour licking dust
And dreams scattering wayward?

Just like them,
Just like
I too built a house,
A house
But the house remained it not a house
Ultimately
When the new occupants talked of
Change in ownership
And clashed with vested interests
Divided in opinions
Ever ready to pick quarrels
And to divide and separate from.
