A Lack Of Oxygen Poem by Sarah Walker

A Lack Of Oxygen

Rating: 4.0

She could give me cancer with her cigarette kiss.
Make bending over a sin.
And when I'm alone,
She could flirt with my imaginary friend.

She could steal away and sever my security,
Like a skin shedding its skeleton.
This is where the silence sleeps,
But this room's always got an elephant
