A Lady After My Own Heart. - Poem by Pen Anthony

Life has denied me most of its comforts
Barely giving me any choices
But if it's to favour me
I would wish for a Lady

No not just a Lady
But a lady truly
after My own heart
That would be all I'd need

I'd have wished for an angel
But angel have wings
She'd fly away while i slumber
But a Lady After My Own Heart

That one
I'd never let out of my sight
Out of my embrace
I'd build her a hut
In my heart
