Have you ever been on the edge
Not just any edge but that of life
I have!
That was supposed to be it
But something happened
I met me.

"Do as i say."

Pick that rock
Throw it as high up as you can
Eye it as it descends
Pick it up again
Now throw it against the wall.

Pick that rock again
Throw it as high up as you can
Eye it as it descends
Pick it up again
Now throw it against the next rock in sight.

Pick that rock again
Now gently brush against its surface
It is chipped and rough
Watch it as it takes new shape

Hold on tightly to that rock
Life will deal you a bad hand
But you're a rock
You're strong
You're a rock that life can't break.

Now pick yourself up
Because it's a damn good day to have a bad day.
