Stop by and say hello
And wish me goodbye
Give me a rousing adieu
And that lovable smile
Reluctant and cautious
But fully unrestrained
That verve that incites
A thousand heartbeats
Stop by and say hello
Grace me with your smile
Bid me stirring goodbye
In that distinctive voice,
Calm, gentle but lively
That sweet undertone
Invoke enough hellos
To last me a lifetime
