Today you take a leap to exit this ladder,
Yes a leap to become a star in the dark night sky
to illuminate the deluge of hopelessness
to anchor knowledge that brings hope to our world

A time as this my dear friend is like the battering rams
the tentacles it brings, imprison us all to fate
it is in the midst of this chaos you emerged
With the belt of victory, you took a stand

Today you take a leap
to write your names in the capsules of time
to mend the broken walls in the academic tower beyond Pisa
today's wind will certainly open a curtain
a curtain with a coat of many beautiful colors
a curtain to save the world

Beloved Elisa,
you are now a doorway
indeed a staircase to ascend the heights in myriad clouds
Find it pleasant to make exploits
Passion is adventurous so change the course of time
You are a rare gem,
go shine forth in the midst of a dark world
You are a tornado,
don't be afraid to roar
