A Lesson Poem by Abdul Wahab

A Lesson

Nothing will come out from nothing
My all learnt friends said
And I thought they were talking right
But when I look at me I think they are absolutely wrong
As I come up from a place of nothing
Actually, it was a crack on a wall of abandoned world
Less water and more wind of arrogance
All around is darkness as light is scanty
The atmosphere takes its pride in ignorance
From this position of nothing
I grow slowly into a fruit bearing tree
And this is possible for me because
I learn the art of being alive from a thrown away seed.
