A Lie Is A Lie Poem by Conley Murray

A Lie Is A Lie

Rating: 3.3

Whether a lie is big and fat or a little small,
all lies says it all.

There is no such thing as lies being a little white or big and black,
when a person tells a lie, they can never take it back.

When a person tells a lie and they don't feel the guilt way deep in,
then the old devil is certainly getting his win.

When a truly born again Christian tells a lie they feel the guilt way deep in,
and they never rest until they repent of that sin.

SINNERS PLEASE REPENT OF YOUR SINS,
AND DON'T LET THE OLD DEVIL GET HIS WIN.

Wow how well said n true n creatively put. In great rhyming u have explained that big, fat, black white lies are all bad. I love to read such poems that have preachy content and tend to write them too. Yors was superb. Thumbs up. Pls do comment my latest poem too, titled Pickled Scenery
