A Lifetime Of Friends Poem by Chi Flores

A Lifetime Of Friends

Rating: 5.0

Bursting seeds, falling leaves
Clues and signs of lengthening lines.
Years and seconds, times and moments
They'll all show we were having fun.
Widening boundaries, rising skies
Helped by those who come and go.
Friend of brick, or friend of wind?
You'll still be somehow changing me.

Looking back I'll know I'll wear a smile
Wear a smile
Looking back I know I'll be saying it was worth while
All worth while.
