A Little Fire
A little fire grows within heart
my mind welcomes it
with silence and devotion,
with open palms towards heaven
and bowed head and closed eyes,
i let that fire rise above slowly
in a way that time leaves me in solitude,
my whole body lightens up from inside
and quiescence releases me into the arms of god.
