A Little Hope Poem by Nunam Lawati

A Little Hope

Things are not the same anymore
Your love does not feel lively,
I know your trapped between guilts
But it is not okay for you to stand there silently.
Had i not tried to make you stay
Our souls would have departed,
Tell me where i went wrong
Cause my love got confiscated.
Did i just care too much?
Bounded with loads of insecurities,
Or did i just failed to let you see?
And prove my abilities.
Am i not pretty enough?
To keep shining on your eyes,
Or do you feel like i am forcing myself
Lingering around like fireflies.
Abrupt changes in you
I am afraid to not care and just leave,
Where i know there are good days ahead
Cause within you i believe.
