Rule Bound Poem by Nunam Lawati

Rule Bound

I am just a girl
Bounded with number of rules
With no further hope
Of living life to the fullest.
Just afraid of being left alone
I pause myself to walk through
Open up my heart
And leave a clue
Explaining all the struggles
And miseries i had to go through.
I am just a little pieces inside
Shattered with hopes,
Driven by dreams
And a lost imagination.
Pleading to be loved
Wanting to grin,
Almighty there please
For once let me live.
It is not my prejudice
It is not my desire
It is the regrets i have
Ruining my whole empire.
