A Little Island Poem by Paul Schroeder

A Little Island

Rating: 3.3

A very little island
In a very big, big sea
Is the place I come to visit
Is the place I want to be.

This very little island
In this very big, big sea
Says, 'Come and stay awhile,
Come on, and play on me.'

My sand is soft and friendly,
My sand is warm and free.
In the middle of my island.
In the middle of the sea.

The water's wet and salty.
The sky is clear and blue.
Although my island's tiny,
My island welcomes you.
