Remember this
Before you piss,
Life is not always bliss
Sometimes it's a slap and not a kiss.
As your journey begins
There is always temptations and sins,
There is always needles and pins
And also loses and wins.
Before you take a path
First do your math,
Then take a hot bath
Wash away your sorrow or wrath.
Before thinking of a rock to scale
Where others had fell,
And there sufferings they did tell
Indeed there is a Heaven and Hell.
Before you open the gate
Before you see what's on your plate,
And before you rule out fate
Just wait.
Before you want and scream out, "NOW! "
Before there's sweat on your brow,
And before your garden you plough
And before making a vow.
Before of thinking of being first
Someone else is having a heavier thirst,
In pain and doubt they have been submersed
Seemingly they have been cursed.
Before you toss in your dime
Before it is your bedtime,
Remember every mountain is hard to climb
Give God just a little bit more time.
