A Long Mornigs Walk - Poem by britney carpenter
life is a long mornings walk.
when we start out, it is wonderfuland refreshing.
however, as we soon come to find,
walking is harder than it looks.
as you reach the middle of your walk
you start to slow down
and take your time.
you look for any short cut you can find.
you take a break or two
and then start again.
you trun around going
back down that road.
as you start to get to the end
you grow tired and weary.
soon you are back home with
the ones who never left your side.
