A Love Mandate Poem by Colonel Muhamad Khalid Khan

A Love Mandate

Love Mandate
I carry her in my dreams as a singing bird
She is so wonderfully beautiful and so sweet
Let me describe her just her word by word
With my phrases and resonating heartbeat
My heart is overtaken by her innocence
I am no more in me so to really speak
I carry along her sweet, wonderful fragrance
Let me caress her from cheek to cheek
She is in me I am in her as per love mandate
In all my sonnets and odes she can be seen
She is intoxicating and just wonderfully great
Being like a growing and glowing sweet teen
