A Love To Beat Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

A Love To Beat

Rating: 3.5

I am crushing the chest
I love to beat it at best
That may stop to bring it at rest
I can stand no more test

it is ridiculous to say
it is not the way
to hide and proclaim
you are the best as i claim

No words may prove it right
i shall have more to fight
Possibly it will not see the the day's light
i extend the eyes to have clear sight

where is she?
all way far and free?
i count mangoes under tree?
it is still morning hour and wee

I have not preferred sun light
No good either moon light
who else will calm me down?
it is fault of my own

I have allowed the memory to travel
Stop there but nothing to tell
just say I am fine and well
Let whole world go to hell

You may worry for globe
i need no more probe
i will gently cry and sob
as if everybody is trying me to rob

where am I today?
is it traffic only one way?
does the sun not throw the ray that side?
what else can i say and hide?

it is glorious moments to enjoy
you are entering new year with joy
May be you have many precious toys to play
I shall prefer to remain far and far away

Does the feeling travel faster than sound?
Does it cross the hill top by making round?
Do it die on countering the obstacle?
Will it come back after making full circle?

I am not sure
some one must come and assure
send the words with flowers coat
simple message to be written on the boat

let high seas read the message
let the sea waves strike but make the passage
it is not simple but a far cry from soul
do not consider it mere or as foul

As the birth day may come and go
what do we remember and forgo?
What strikes most in the mind?
Nothing but some fine moments to find

I may remember first hand shake
It was at the time of cutting the cake
I had wished many more happy years
The music was very nice to the ears

As the days passed by
I was driven away for only to try
You had become distinct star
Twinkle in the sky and very far

I may not find you any more
Still I admire and adore
No more efforts to try and explore
As the relation is not strained but turned soar
