A gloomy morning
With thick fog and dew
Being so chilled
And shivering with a hazy view,
Looking through my glass panes
With dripping dew.
I find grass tips
In my small lawn in front -
Are bathing with dew drops
Plenty being showered.
They are undulating merrily
Like gleaming Lapis Lazuli.
Tiny seasonal flowers
Seem to be fluttering their petals
With a big smile with content
And happiness on their faces.
A shivering and foggy winter morning
Thus looks so mystic
and gives a divine feeling.

A lovely poem on winter when the air is not too chilly to make one freezing and the green grass bathed in dew! The small wild flowers with sparkling dew drops on their tiny petals add to the beauty of the early morning scene!
This poem is so mystic and divine, Amitava! Superb imagery and rhythm! Flows through my mind like a symphony of nature. Absolutely beautiful portrait of winter! Excellent poem! Thank you for sharing it! RoseAnn
