A Lullyaby Without Noise Poem by Alyssa Ray

A Lullyaby Without Noise

Rating: 5.0

I observe his motions
I lose my breath
I feel on air
My heart skips a beat
I close my eyes
And image myself by his side
Feel his warmth
Cry when he cries
Fill that silence
Hold him when he needs me
I am asleep
And don't know where I am
I open my eyes
And that was my lullyaby
I observe his smile
And I turn and walk away
Wishing I didn't have to
But as for my wishes
They may never get granted
So I'll always have
My lullyaby
Without words
Without sound
Without me with him

After reading 3/4 of your poems, I can tell you attach yourself to people, who unfortunalty rip themselves away. It hurts you and doesn't seem to phase the other person. But remember, going to there house in the middle of the night and killing their house cat is not ok. But remembering that you are becoming a stronger person because of them will not only save a cat's life, but help you later in life.: D stay strong, Jayce

I read a lot of poems of heart break. people think they don't exist unless he/she loves them. Phooee! you are a beautiful flower in the garden of the universe and you need nothing or no-one else to make that so. I do like your poemit has good structure and a beginning a middle and a good end. Poets are observers and if we are not carefull we can get to busylookin at our own belly button (pain) when this happens we need to observe what is happening outside ourselves.
