When a woman breaks a man's heart
And from her he does sadly depart,
And he still respects and has love for her
But, now for him there is no care or wonder.
When she has taken away his feelings
She has destroyed his need with harsh dealings,
Just from what she had said and done
She has taken away his sun.
A man will put his happiness aside for his woman
He'll put her in front of any other human,
But, a woman will put a man aside for her own happiness
She cares only for herself, only unto God she will confess.
This is true, though sounding very cruel
She doesn't care to treat and use a man like a fool,
She doesn't care of the pain or of the ache
When his heart she does deliberately break.
She will start her everyday with a smile
Happily to cover up and hide her guile,
She will never know or understand the sad cost
She will have no idea what she has truly lost!
As I gaze soulfully into my warm beer
I again shed another tear,
I was the one that was deceived and broken
When a woman whom I loved, used me as a token.
