A married woman just texted me
In her current marriage she wasn't happy,
In it she finds and feels sadness and woe
Starting from the get go.
She doesn't get along with his ex or his children
Especially his daughter and son,
And he doesn't like her children none at all
He hates it when they come and visit or call.
She says that's he's a very abusive person
Pushing and threatening and always cursin',
Telling her what she can and cannot do
Hell she says, he constantly puts her through.
She said that she now wishes that she wasn't married
Because, her thoughts and dreams were miscarried,
She wanted a happy forever after
But, all that she got was scorn, abuse and laughter.
She texted that she still misses being single and dating
A new and a different adventure was always waiting,
Now when she looks out the window glass
She misses her past.
They are not equal partners in this partnership
As she repeats that with anger and always a quip,
But, she had a wedding dress that she wanted to wear
And she didn't want to die alone, she did swear.
She then texted and asked me if we could get together again
I told her, "No! " that would be wrongful and a sin,
I texted her that she is now married and off the market
Stop acting like merchandise that is sold at target.
She now wishes that she never did the proposing
And how she wished to marriage he was more opposing,
Another fact to me she did honestly profess
She wished that he had never said, "Yes".
