A Moment Poem by Howard Johnson

A Moment

Rating: 2.1

In a moment
A look from you
And I fell from grace
A smile placed happily on my face
I remembered once
I held you
In a deep embrace
Together we then danced
From excitment and from circumstance
In the heat of the passionate moment
Reading what your eyes consent
Of what your heart was trying to say

A crystal stone you grabed
Resting on a polished slab
Through gaps in your slender fingers
You looked in it to see if all was well
The image you found
lifted from all pain around
On The back of a spotted Dragon
You flew, with the power of his wings.
Through countrys, lands
And a planet with graceful rings
The journy continued
A mear bargain to re-live the
Excitement and circumstance

On the road your Carrige, took you home
The one in a window, a little light shone.
Passion of this moment
A dream I bought for you
What started out simple
Became more than bargined for
What I seen,
Caught brightly in the corner of your eye.
